Windows 7 ending security and support

Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. There will not be further updates and security patches after that time. Your computer will be vulnerable to failures or malicious hacking. Even though Microsoft stopped offering Windows 10 upgrades for free some time ago, users may still be able to force the Windows 10 upgrade on their computer.

The wireless networks in our academic buildings will not allow Windows 7 devices on the Thunder_WiFi or Thunder_Devices networks.
