Panopto Video Access Issue

If you have someone reporting they do not have access to a Panopto video, you may need to adjust the sharing permissions. You can adjust the sharing for an individual video, or share your whole folder to make all your current and future classes no have this issue. 


 - Access the video at Panopto.com. You may need to log in through your Trine email and use the SSO Panopto option if that button appears. 

 - To find an individual video that needs permissions changed, You can search for a video at the top of the video 

or select it from your My Folder or Browse at the bottom to select the folder or specific class. 

 - Select the Share icon for that video

 - On that screen, you can change your permissions to anything but restricted and that will assist with access. If this course could be used in the future, Best Practice is to use one of the Your Organization options or the Public options. 

You can change permissions for all your videos to avoid any sharing permissions issues going forward

 - From your main Panopto screen, select the Browser folder option on the left side of the screen. 

 - Select the folder you wish to apply permissions. 

 - Select the Share option in the upper right and select the same option as for an individual video: use either the Your Organization options or the Public options.
