Teams meeting in Moodle - Create meeting using the Atto toolbar in a label

You can create meetings using Microsoft Teams in the Atto toolbar in a label! While the label itself might be unsightly, you'll add the convenience of starting Teams meeting within your course. 

You will need to enable the Microsoft block in your course if you have not done so previously. 


1) Enable the editing in your course. 

2) Select the New activity or resource at the bottom of the page or section

3) Select to add a Label. 

4) From the Atto toolbar/editor, select the Teams icon.

5) You may need to sign into Teams if prompted.

6) Select the Create meeting link button. 


7) Set the information in the fields for the meeting. When finished, select the Create button. 

8) Check the box for Open in new window and then select the Add link button. 

9) Select the save option at the bottom if the label activity. 

When anyone selects the link from the Moodle page the meeting will open. It can be used repeatedly, regardless of the date and time options selected in the Teams meeting setting.
