Step 1 – Download and install the Authenticator app. Open the app to the initial screen and select the "+" or Add Account option. It may read to add a work or school account. 

If you are prompted to have Authenticator send notifications, you will need to allow the option.

Step 2 – You will be prompted for your Trine email and password. 

Step 3 - You will be prompted to confirm identification with your non-Trine email or phone number you've registered with Microsoft. If you do not have those set up yet or cannot, please contact IT Services  and create a support ticket. 

Step 4 - Authenticator MFA will now be available when signing into Trine Microsoft-protected accounts.
