ADP Onboarding Instructions

How to complete the Onboarding Process in ADP:

Once you log-in to ADP, after creating your user ID & password, you will begin on the Welcome page.  You’ll notice the menu on the left side of the page. This menu may be slightly different than what you see as it is tailored to your position. This menu will allow you to navigate through and return to specific sections if you need to return and complete your onboarding at a different time.

The first 4 icons are informational for you and are a great introduction to Trine University and your team.

· You’ll begin entering personal information in the PROFILE section.

· Select Complete Info to update your personal information.

· This section is required before you will be able to move on.

· It is very important that the information entered is accurate; this information will be used to generate your W-2 and file taxes on your behalf.

The Paperwork section of onboarding is split into multiple sections, all of which are required to fully complete onboarding.  Below is an explanation of different forms you will find throughout the onboarding process:

Under Documents there will be several additional forms providing information or requiring your signature:

Documents with Review & Sign will require your electronic signature before they are considered complete.

Trine specific documents that need to be filled out, will need to be downloaded, completed, and then uploaded into the onboarding portal.  Examples of this are:

· 403b Contribution Agreement

· Employee Giving

Once you have completed all of the required steps in onboarding you will receive an email from Trine Human Resources so that we can coordinate reviewing your I-9 Documents.

You will receive an email from ADP requesting that you log-in and acknowledge Trine University’s Employee Handbook.
